Conservancy Law PLC was formed by Michigan attorney Daniel J. Cline in 2014. Mr. Cline has over 35 years of legal experience, and was a founding member of Cline Close Dyer PLC, a general practice law firm in Midland, Michigan, where his practice concentrated in the fields of tax-exempt organizations, real estate, and employment law. He holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Yale University.
Mr. Cline has over 18 years of experience representing Michigan land conservancies, and has spoken on a variety of legal topics for land conservancies at both statewide and national conferences. He serves on the board directors of Heart of the Lakes Center for Land Conservation Policy, Grass River Natural Area, Inc., and is a Commissioner on the Land Trust Accreditation Commission.
